At Calvary Baptist Church

A warm, friendly welcome awaits you!

Thank you for visiting our church web site. We wish to invite you to visit and worship with us. Be assured you will receive a warm welcome.

As a Christ centered church we base our beliefs, polity and teaching upon God’s revealed word, the Bible. We follow the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20) to reach out to all people that they would believe and in faith receive Jesus Christ as their Savior. This is the “Good News” that our God and Creator forgives all our sins, gives us eternal life, absolute assurance of salvation, and peace and joy in our lives. We strive to teach the Bible that so that people will not only be saved, but grow in their relationship with with the Lord. Our further goal is to teach our church how to biblically interpret the Bible for themselves.

Calvary Baptist Church is a people orientated church. A church is not a building, but an assembly of believers who gather together to worship, serve the Lord and each other, and grow in Christ as the word of God is preached and taught. We love the brethren and the souls of men and wish all men to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our commission is to share God’s truth and love with others.

If you do not already have a home church, we would like to extend an invitation to join us for services each and every Sunday. If we can help or would like to know more about God’s word or us please call us at 435-279-6752 or 435-291-1499
