We love the Word of God the Bible and pattern our church beliefs, practices and polity after the New Testament example. Our church believes in the literal interpretation of the Bible. We believe that only the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the inspired, inerrant Word of God, and thus are the final and absolute authority for our faith and practice. Our church has congregational rule.
An Independent Baptist Church
Like thousands of other Fundamental Independent Baptist churches across the nation we follow the New Testament example of the early church and are not formally associated with any denominational organization. Our church governs itself solely under the authority the New Testament.
A Separated Church
We believe that God's people should live godly lives separated from sin and doctrinal error. This does not mean we feel personally superior to others, because God says we are all sinners and have fallen short of the glory of God. We have no righteousness of our own, but have the imparted righteous of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Christ wants the best for us and that means helping us to overcome sin. Knowing and living God's truth sets us free from sin's destructive influence in our lives.
An Evangelistic Gospel Preaching Church
We practice our Lord's command to preach the Gospel to every person, both locally and abroad through our outreach and missions program. We preach, teach and share the Gospel given to us in the New Testament, urging people to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and accept Him as their personal Savior. Following the Scriptures we believe that a person receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life by belief, putting their faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone. It is God's plan that a person is saved by God's grace apart from any work or ritual.
An Edifying Church
Our ministry is centered in teaching the whole counsel of the Word of God effectively. We do this by pointing men to God's truth and thereby to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and go on to maturity experiencing the peace of joy of their salvation. We not only teach the Bible, but also strive to train and disciple our members in interpreting God's word so they might teach others.
A Family Orientated Church
We are a family oriented church and believe that the Christian home is the strength of the local church and our nation. As a church we seek to support and strengthen the family through living by God's word.
A Traditional Church
Our services are uplifting, traditional, cheerful, and Christ honoring. We sing songs and the traditional hymns of faith which have profound, biblical and meaningful histories that glorify our Savior. We are a church that lives by faith in God by living His word and trusting in His provision for us.
